Louis-Braille Drishtiheen Vikas Sansthan (LBDVS) was founded on 4th January 1981, the birth anniversary of Louis Braille, the path creator for the blind. The organization is registered under the Rajasthan Societies Registration Act, 1958 (Serial No. 393/83-84) with the Registrar Co-operative Organizations, Rajasthan, Jaipur, and holds recognition under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

Since its inception, LBDVS has been dedicated to the education, empowerment, and independence of visually impaired individuals. The institution strives to make their lives more dignified, accessible, and fulfilling by providing opportunities that help them become self-reliant and well-integrated members of society.
