Objectives and Goals

The objectives and goals indicated in the manual of the institute are as follows-

• To make every effort to organize cultural / social activities and sports competitions to make progress, providing platform to the differently abled visually impaired.
• To make every effort to establish coordination and harmony in the visually impaired. To establish liaison with other organizations for this.
• To make arrangements for their education and training with a view to improve the quality of life of the blind.
• To encourage the visually impaired to set up small and cottage industries by making every effort to provide them employment. To make arrangements for getting grant-in-aid from various institutions for this purpose.
• To make efforts in the direction of providing employment oriented training and sources of employment to the blind people living in rural areas.
• For the survey of the blind, with the help of all possible sources, collecting and collecting data and using them from time to time.
• Organizing exhibitions, meetings etc. with the aim of making the general public aware of the condition of the blind, the activities that can be done by them. To promote through promotional materials, posters, hoardings, films.
• To publish literature etc. for the blind and to establish libraries, reading rooms etc. to facilitate their reading etc.
• To get checked for vision diseases and to take measures for their prevention and to make proper arrangements.
• To establish a guidance center for the planning of the blind and try to provide them all possible help in this regard.
• To establish such institutions and service centers where to organize seminars, conferences, meetings etc. for their problems. Collecting data for them and disseminating it for information through these centers.
